Grade ONEderful

Today we worked extra hard! We started the morning by graphing who read at home yesterday. Only 12 kids read at home. Our goal is to have 25 kids who read at home by Monday! Please remind your child to read his/her new books at home this weekend. In order to grow, we need to practice!

This afternoon we joined our Grade 4 buddy class to read! The whole class did an excellent job at appropriately reading. After reading, we had the chance to hold, touch, and observe their class gerbils! They were so cute! Pictures will be posted soon (under our Snapshots page).

We also had Library today! Please take the time to let your child read/talk about his/her new book at home with you. They are so excited about it!
